MyRotaPay is developed and published by Respawning Monday. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the MyRotaPay mobile application.

1. Information stored in MyRotaPay

MyRotaPay allows users to enter and manage information relating to their work, including jobs and employers, work sites, shift dates and working times, shift types and rota patterns, hourly pay rates, contracted hours, overtime and premium rates, allowances, bonuses and deductions, pay periods, estimated earnings and other information entered by the user for the purpose of tracking work and estimated pay.

This information is primarily stored locally on the user's device. MyRotaPay does not require users to create a MyRotaPay account to use the application's core features.

2. How your information is used

Information entered into MyRotaPay is used to provide the application's functionality, including calculating working hours, estimated earnings, overtime, pay periods and statistics.

Your work information is not sold by Respawning Monday.

3. Local storage

MyRotaPay is designed as a local-first application. Work and rota information entered into the app is stored on the user's device unless the user deliberately uses an export, backup or sharing feature.

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of information they wish to retain.

4. Exporting and sharing data

MyRotaPay may provide features that allow users to export or share information stored within the application.

When a user deliberately exports or shares information, the destination selected by the user may process or store that information according to its own privacy practices.

MyRotaPay does not automatically upload a user's work records to a Respawning Monday cloud account.

5. Advertising and third-party services

MyRotaPay may use third-party services to provide features such as advertising, app distribution, purchases, crash reporting or other application functionality.

These services may process limited device, application or diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies. Where required, MyRotaPay will provide appropriate disclosures or consent options relating to these services.

6. Purchases and MyRotaPay Pro

MyRotaPay may offer optional paid features, including MyRotaPay Pro. Purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google. Respawning Monday does not directly receive or store users' complete payment card details.

To determine whether MyRotaPay Pro should be unlocked, the app sends the Google Play purchase token and the relevant purchase type to a MyRotaPay verification service hosted on Google Cloud. The verification service uses the Google Play Developer API to check the status of the purchase with Google and returns whether Pro access is valid.

MyRotaPay does not send the user's jobs, shifts, working hours, pay rates or calculated earnings to the purchase verification service. Purchase tokens are used for entitlement verification and are not complete payment card details.

7. Data security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect information handled by MyRotaPay. Information stored locally is also dependent on the security of the user's device.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data retention and deletion

Information stored locally by MyRotaPay remains on the user's device until it is removed by the user, deleted through application functionality, cleared through the device's application settings, or removed when the application and its associated data are deleted.

Information that has previously been exported or shared outside MyRotaPay must be managed or deleted from the destination where the user chose to store or share it.

9. Children's privacy

MyRotaPay is designed as a work and pay management application and is not specifically directed at children.

10. Pay estimates

MyRotaPay provides calculations and estimates based on information entered by the user. Pay, overtime, deductions and other financial figures displayed by MyRotaPay are estimates and should not be treated as an official payslip, financial advice, tax advice or a guarantee of earnings.

Users should check official payslips and relevant employer or government information where appropriate.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when MyRotaPay's features, services or data-handling practices change. The latest version will be made available through this page.
